Second Class had a fantastic time at Cork City Gaol today.We had a very informative guide who told us all about the history surrounding the gaol.Everyone learned so much and had great fun exploring after the tour!

Senior Infants planted Sunflowers in the garden today. We can't wait until they grow! They also got to bring home their Cress plants which they sowed in May!🌻

Well done to the 2 teachers running the half marathon today and the 5 running the relay for Cork City Marathon!! Great job done by all!! 👍🏻🏃🏅🎖🏆

Sunday's Well G.N.S. summer camp will run from Monday July 3rd to Friday July 7th. (10am-2pm) We will be doing lots of fun activities such as baking, arts & crafts, sports, games, gymnastics, treasure hunts, dance etc. The cost is €40 per child for the week. (€70 for 2 sisters.) Our new Aistear theme is up and running in Junior Infants! For the month of June we are looking at camping, the beach and summer time. I'm sure we will be very busy toasting marshmallows over our camp fire and rowing our boat in the ocean!!!

Second Class had a great day today when Ballyvolane Fire Brigade came to visit.They learned all about the work of a firefighter and how to prevent fires starting in the home.The highlight of the day was when each girl got to use the fire hose! A big thanks to Ballyvolane Fire Brigade for a fantastic day!

Thank you so much to Singleton's SuperValu for letting our Junior Infants visit to do our supermarket hunt! The girls had a great time finding all the things in their checklist. The staff were all so helpful and the girls had an amazing time! 🛒🛍

Senior Infants visited the local church and library today! We were so lucky to meet Fr.Greg who showed us around the church and even brought us into the sacristy!
