Well done to all our members who competed and represented our dojo over the last few weeks at the J.k.A open international at the piltown open and at the rising sun open . We won a vast amount of medals and learnt a great lot about ourselves as competitors and where there is room for improvement. No ,one individual wins a title on their own and without all our members our dojo wouldn't be as strong as what it is today . WE ARE THE ODAKAN , where THE IMPOSSIBLE BECOMES THE POSSIBLE . Well done to ALL of our members who competed at the J.K.A international, we had outstanding success and everyone worked really hard against very tough opposition to gain our victories. I believe that naming people individually wouldn't be fair as we won as the Odakan and everyone involved in our dojo has a role to play. Without all our members than these victories wouldn't be possible. Well done all and as always victory or not, I'm proud and humbled to have such great people representing our dojo. Well done to all those who returned to training this week. At Tuesday's class we covered kihon basics and some ground fighting skills and Thursday we had an intensive class on movement during kumite and how to improve and utilise our fast twitch muscle fibres during combat. Well done to all our students who competed in the kanazawa cup in Dublin last Saturday. A special mention to Clara Deady who secured 3rd place in the Kata and to Danielle Murphy who came 2nd in the kumite after a very close final that lasted for over 7 minutes. Win lose or draw our dojo are always proud of our students. Oss 👊
