Coaching is an action focused conversation. It is a process that uses effective, positive, evidence based strategies to support  your growth. As a coach, I pride myself on my dedication to my clients and helping them get the best from their time with me. Coaching is a process that has helped me in such a significant manner as a client that I know, first hand, what the benefits of it can be. What I bring to each session is not just my qualifications and experience as a coach but more importantly what I have been through as a person. I know what it's like to be at a point in your life and not know how you even got there! To wonder if things will ever get better and to continually question "is this it?" But, as cliche as it sounds, I'm living proof that it can get better!

With me as your coach, you can learn how to work towards realistic goals & standards that you set. By getting to know yourself better, learning from failure instead of being afraid of it, and trusting in your own abilities, you can empower yourself to accomplish what you really want from life.

As each and every one of us are unique, so too are our needs. With this in mind my guarantee to you is that every coaching session I give is tailored to the individual clients needs. I will always strive to do my best for you, challenging you to be your best self while offering support and encouragement along the way.

The Art of Self-Expression

Here it is folks, my latest blog! :) In this piece I discuss why I believe self-expression is so vital in order to live a truly happy life. This can come is so many shapes and forms as long as we do no limit ourselves. It takes courage to be open, honest and authentic but that is where I believe the greatest joy comes from. This piece features some incredibly captivating photographs by the insanely talented Julia Dunin Photography which I feel really complement the topic itself. Enjoy! #expressyourself #talkitout #creativehappylife

I had the pleasure of spending my Saturday morning taking part in The Pieta House Darkness into Light in UCC Cork. A heartfelt & moving morning shared with great people. Mental health awareness is something that is incredibly important to me and I have so much love & respect for Pieta House and all the work they do. Let's all make a conscious effort to be aware of the people around us and make a point of taking action if we feel someone needs our help. Let's reach out & support each other! #darknessintolight #DIL2017 #mentalhealthawareness 💛💛💛

While many people do not show it, very few of us are living without challenges and battles we must fight. Everyone has troubles, whether that be in the form of grief, heartache, stress or battling a mental illness such as anxiety or depression for example. I have yet to meet someone who is exempt from this. So why not take the time this month to reach out to those in our lives, let them know we care and let them know we are there for them, who knows how much that could help someone! And if you are feeling as though you are buckling under the pressure of your current situation, please reach out to someone; A friend, a loved one, a professional. If these do not feel like an option for you, here is a list of services available to you, some of which are for free: http://www.mentalhealthireland.ie/need-help-now/

As part of Green Ribbon month I wanted to repost my blog detailing my lifelong battle with panic disorder & anxiety. I know exactly what it feels like to be afraid to open up and talk when it feels as though your world is falling down around you. I spent so much time feeling at the hands of, and controlled by, my panic attacks and it took me years of suffering in silence to force me to finally reach out and ask for help. If you're struggling or suffering right now, I urge you, please reach out and talk to someone. You are not alone #GreenRibbonIRL #MentalHealth #StartTheConversation #LifeCoach #TimeToTalk Check out my Blog: How Life Coaching Helped Me Deal with My Panic Disorder - http://ow.ly/bd9m30bnxBA

Sharer of Joy: Nataly Kogan at TEDxBoston

A moving & heartwarming TED Talk by the founder of Happier . She shares her goal for her company which was to encourage people to stop saying " I'll be happy when . . . " and to instead say "I'm happier now because . . . " What a simple but beautiful concept! So let me set this challenge for you this week, focus on the small positive moments and start every day by saying "I'm happier now because . . . " See what difference it makes to the level of your happiness! #Motivation #happiness #love #lifecoaching #loveyourlife #youdeservehappiness :)

I've created this playlist to share with you all. I know I've mentioned it before but music has played an incredibly important role in my life and this is why I wanted to share this collection of songs that I use to help ease my anxiety and reduce my stress levels. Pop your headphones on, head out for a walk or relax on your bed, whatever will make you feel comfortable and let the music do it's magic. Let it lift your spirits and sooth your soul. Of course this is a playlist that is very personal to me and while I hope these songs can help you in the way they help me, perhaps they will also inspire you to put together a playlist of your own. Music is incredibly personal to the individual so take time and put together your own playlist that will help to put you at ease on the days you are feeling overwhelmed with stress/anxiety/worry. Enjoy Folks! :) #MusicIsMyTherapist https://open.spotify.com/user/1155733292/playlist/3WGSplrJDTXoVFbAHCLyDf

Plus-size? More Like My Size | Ashley Graham | TEDxBerkleeValencia

I’ve watched & rewatched this TED Talk so many times! This lady is an inspiration and a role model when it comes to body positivity! Too many of us (myself included) are guilty of feeling not good enough to be loved by ourselves or anyone else for that matter, all because of how we look! Ashley Graham is the voice that we should all be listening to when we are privately attacking ourselves for not being good enough! I have so much love for this woman, model & self professed body activist and all that she stands for! And while it may be cliché, it’s true, her motto is “Beauty Comes From Within, Sexy Is A State Of Mind”. So for anyone struggling with poor self image or self esteem (male or female) give this a watch. Then today, do something nice for yourself, do something that makes you feel good! You deserve it! #BeautyStateOfMind #HappyisSexy #HealthyisSexy #Defineyourownsize #LoveYourself #BelieveinYourself

This is a Marianne Williamson quote though many of you may know it as Nelson Mandela used it in his inauguration speech, or from the movie Coach Carter. What I have always taken from this quote is that it is easier to hide behind the fear of something going wrong or failing, than it is to admit that we are afraid of success. The reality is that succeeding in something we set out to achieve means that we must admit to ourselves, and others, that we are strong, resilient and powerful. It means we are better than we have been giving ourselves credit for. It means that we must be honest with ourselves, we must accept compliments and we must own our successes. So today, I hope you know your worth, I hope you learn to accept compliments & I hope you own your successes. You deserve it! #knowyourworth #ownyoursuccess #ownyourpower
