We offer short Health & Wellness Courses to those wishing to take back control of their health and their lives.
Ballincollig Meditation Centre is no longer based in the Feel Good Centre, Ballincollig. Courses now run in Bru Columbanus, Cardinal Way, Wilton, Cork.
There are currently two, 6 week courses running: "Mindfulness for Well-Being" and "Healthy Body, Healthy Mind".
Courses are developed and facilitated by Jean O Hanlon, Wellness Psychologist, Sleep Therapist & Health Coach.
BSc., HD Psychology, Cert Counselling & Psych., Dip. CBT for Insomnia, Professional Cert. Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness.
Certified Health & Wellness Coach.
About Jean
Jean gained her Postgraduate Degree in Psychology (H.Dip) in University College Cork in 2009 before working in the area of Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation for a number of years. After a stint of poor health and recovery herself, Jean became passionate about sharing her knowledge and the approaches that helped her regain her own health and well-being.
Jean completed further training, qualifying as a Health & Wellness Coach and a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for Insomnia as well as gaining certification in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness in order to help others create real change in their own lives. Jean has worked in private, corporate and community healthcare settings over the years, successfully helping many people to achieve new-found levels of wellness.
Jean is particularly passionate about sharing current research and innovative therapies & practices with the wider public, believing that knowledge is power and that everybody has the right to live a thriving, happy life. Jean has spoken on radio and contributed to national newspapers as an expert on sleep, mindfulness meditation and other health and wellness related topics.
