It does work. It can be done. It's being piloted in a Dublin school too. It's also fun for both students and facilitators. "Minister for Education Richard Bruton has asked policymakers to review the 20-year-old curriculum on relationships and sexuality education to ensure it meets the needs of young people in Ireland today." This is great news! Let's develop the BEST sex education. I and 3 colleagues had started out our TY work in this area in 1998 - even then the curriculum was not meeting the needs. The 1998 "update" mentioned in this piece was sadly lacking. It didn't meet the needs of young people then, never mind now. So maybe this time we'll get it right? One thing has is clear following the horror of the last few weeks - we are more motivated than ever to get this done! #SexEd #consent #sexting #porn
