Really well done to everyone tonight in week 1 of one Scentwork Level 1 course. Tonight we we introducing the foundations of search work, container search and perimeter search. Great work by Milo, Ruby, Libby and Riley.

Really looking forward to the start of our Scentwork course this Friday evening. This is a 10 week course building up to the Scentwork UK Level 1 trials. Scentwork is a great game for your dog to really work their brains and build calm and focus along the way. This weekend's Summer Classes (open for all) are our Agility Jumpwork 1 and Clever Canine - Empathy sessions. In the agility sessions we are looking at teaching you and your dog how to get around the course in a nice tidy and speedy manner. In our Clever Canine session we are investigating just how much Empathy does your dog have? Agility is a 3 week session for €75 and Clever Canine is a once off for €25. We had a lovely walk around Kill last Wednesday for Walking Club. Such a nice day for a dip in the water. Hopefully it will be just as nice tomorrow in Monread Park.
A huge thank you to Liz and all her team at Positive Dog Training for an excellent weekend of training and learning events. Great to see old friends and get to know the training community better. As always, love The IMDT sessions, no matter how much you (think you) know you will always learn something new. 🐾
