€3,500 grant for HEAT PUMP upgrade announced The Support Scheme for Renewable Heat is a government funded initiative designed to increase the energy generated from renewable sources in the heat sector. It will contribute to meeting Ireland’s 2020 renewable energy targets whilst also reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Minister for the Environment and Climate Change Denis Naughten announced the new government initiative to support the introduction of sustainable energy heating solutions for Irish homes.
