Finally, after six days of blackout, we got the electricity! Amberley is back on business as usual on Monday at 7am. We wish a nice week end to everyone.

PASTA OF THE DAY: ORECCHIETTE BROCCOLI AND SALSICCIA. We contemplated the name orecchiette as we made for lunch today. Orecchie means “ears” in Italian, and the -ette suffix renders a word diminutive. So, orecchiette means “little ears”. One look at this rustic pasta and you will agree that its name suits it well.
