Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town returns to Fermoy in 2016 Bank of Ireland has announced the return of its Enterprise Town initiative to Fermoy, Co. Cork on Friday 21st of October from 6pm to 9pm. Taking place in the Loreto Sports Complex, the event features a Business, Community and Sports Expo as well as plenty of family friendly activity throughout the day. The Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town event has been organised by the Bank in partnership with the local community in Fermoy. The initiative aims to promote enterprise and drive business momentum for local businesses and the wider sports and social community in the locality by connecting residents with all the town has to offer. Events are free to attend and are open to both customers and non-customers of Bank of Ireland. Over the course of the day 100 exhibitors will display a wide variety of products and services. The events include a key note talk from renowned celebrity chef, Rachel Allen. A Sports Panel discussion entitled ‘Reaching the Top of Your Game’ will also take place on the day. Facilitated by Aodan Enright of Smarter Egg, the panel will feature Liam Sheedy, All Ireland winning manager with Tipperary and Director of Bank of Ireland Munster, and Helen Arnold of TVM Bartlemy. Commenting on the initiative, Head of Bank of Ireland for County Cork, Eilis Mannion, said: “Bank of Ireland is committed to supporting business growth across Munster and we want to continue to be Ireland’s Enterprise Bank. We would encourage local businesses and the wider community to come and share in activities on Friday the 21st of October. I would like to thank the Enterprise Town Committee and all those involved in helping to organise and exhibit at this event.” Fermoy Bank of Ireland Branch Manager, David Sheehan, added: “The local community have embraced this initiative wholeheartedly, and working together we have organised a very exciting programme of activity. The event will be free to attend and is open to all. It is a fantastic opportunity for the community to see the level of enterprise here in Fermoy.”
