We specialize in books related to Ireland, particularly County Mayo, but also carry a general stock of books from around the world. Rare and Recent Books is a family run business based in County Mayo in the West of Ireland. We run a bookshop in Cong, County Mayo which is open daily (except Tuesday) from around 11am to 5pm. We also sell our books online through the booksellers sites Biblio.com and Abebooks as well as our own website. We specialise in books of Irish interest but carry a large general stock ranging from the 17th century to the present day.
