Treasurer’s Report & Accounts for 2016, Adoption of Accounts & President’s Report and also Election of Officers and Executive Committee for 2016-2017 We are delighted that Dr Padraig Kirk, Director, CPD for Junior Cycle, and who is spearheading this initiative, will give a talk on ‘Junior Cycle – Changing for the Better’. This talk will help to better inform parents about the new exciting way of education for Junior Cycle going forward. It is expected that parents will play a more involved role in ongoing education of their children. We would encourage parents, particularly of 1st and 2nd Year students, to attend this talk by Dr Kirk who is at the cutting edge of this educational change.

Thank you very much to Dr. Bobby Smyth for a very interesting talk yesterday evening. Great advice given on parenting strategies which reduce the risk of teenagers developing alcohol and other substance abuse problems. A really enjoyable and informative evening!
