Description
Junior chef's academy Clonmel offers children's cookery classes for kids aged 7-13 years of age. Telephone 086-0766865. Established in 2009, Junior Chefs Academy Clonmel is commited to providing children with cooking and baking skills in a fun and friendly environment. With weekly classes for 7 to 13 year olds, children learn how to cook from scratch using quality ingredients. Classes are hands on and students bring home everything that they prepare. Classes take place at the Clonmel Community Resource centre kitchen.
Classes are run by Annis Logue, Nutritionist and Cookery Consultant. Children learn a range of skills including food preparation, cooking, team work as well as making new friends in a fun environment. We provide all the ingredients, equipment and aprons. All you have to do is bring a container so that you can take home what you have made!
The recipes for each class are made available to the students and they are encouraged to try them out at home.

facebook.comThe junior chefs have been busy with a healthy start to our year. In the last couple of weeks, they have been making Chicken and sweetcorn pies and Feel Good Muffins. It is wonderful to see young children passionate about cooking!!
Classes are finished now for our Christmas break. The term will continue on Fri 12th and Sat 13th Jan 2018. Until then Happy Christmas and New Year to all!!!!

A new term starts, looking forward to seeing you all today and tomorrow. A quick look back the last few weeks. We made chocolate courgette muffins, leek, bacon & potato soup, garlic and basil ciabatta, Malteser bars, meatballs with tomato sauce & penne pasta, Toffee apples, Spider cookies and Halloween owl buns!!!
Two weeks into the new term and all the junior chefs have been impressing me with their skills. They have made beautiful apple pies and a spicy chicken and chorizo jambalaya. There will be no class this Friday or Saturday, but classes back to normal the following week.
There is 1 space left on the Friday 4pm class and 2 spaces still available on the Sat 10am class. Let me know if you would like to reserve a space. Annis (086-0766865).
There are a few more spaces available on the Fri 4 pm, 6.15pm and Saturday 10am classes starting Sept 1st and 2nd at Clonmel resource centre. Call Annis at 086076865 to book a space.
Hi to all Junior Chefs. I hope you are all having a lovely relaxing summer. Cookery classes will be starting back on Fri and Sat the 1st and 2nd of September. Thank you to all who requested to keep their spaces from the spring term. I will be in contact during the next week to confirm your attendance as I have a few people waiting for spaces. Annis
