Poise Pilates
Description
Pilates & Fitness Pilates is a form of exercise which focuses on strengthening the core postural muscles that are essential in supporting the spine. Core strength refers to the deep internal muscles of the abdomen and back which, when working efficiently, improve body awareness and posture.
Our classes are fun and challenging, each week aims to build on your core strength while creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere to come and enjoy an hour or so away from the daily grind. You'll leave class feeling stronger, looser and more relaxed.
Each class lasts approximately 50 minutes and it is suitable for almost everyone, our classes are a mixture of beginners and intermediate students, some of whom have been coming to class consistently for two years!!! I also provide private and semi-private Pilates classes as well as personal training classes.
Poise Pilates is based in the BMA Academy of Health & Fitness Centre. The Centre offers a wide range of classes and complementary therapies.

A movie that encourages a positive body image by encouraging women to be more accepting of who they are, to use positive language regarding their bodies and others, and to prioritise health before beauty and at he end of the day isn't our job? to encourage a healthy lifestyle, not necessarily obtain "hot abs" or thigh gaps"? Please share the trailer for this movie and possible even attend the screenings, so far there's one on Odeon Point village and Odeon Naas.

What a great positive attitude to have - your body is Not an ornament, it's a vehicle!! Her page is full of positive thinking about body shapes and loving ourselves, getting rid of the marketing shoved down our throats about how we should and shouldn't look. Have you wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, kids, friends, everyone look at this - let's break the cycle!!

There's so many things we can say we're going to change for the new year, so many things we say we're going to do to make ourselves better. But instead of making lots of changes why not just try getting out of the house and doing a little exercise and maybe making a few new friends? Our new Pilates term starts tomorrow night and every Thursday at 6pm and Saturday morning at 10.30am. Classes are kept small and are relaxed and friendly.
