facebook.comThat's the West Cork done for another year now, A great weekend all over superb weather great crowds and some cracking rallying. I'd like to congratulate all involved in organising the event they had everything done to a tee, And this made for a smoothly run rally. I'd like to congratulate All competitors who finished the rally which is an achievement in itself. I'd now like to congratulate the most successful man ever to come to West Cork, Donagh Kelly secured his third win in a row down to here to firmly stamp his place in history with a complete drive from start to finish, congratulations on a marvellous achievement. 2nd O/A was Local man Keith Cronin with a brilliant drive in his Citroen R5 and taking full points in the championship and extending his lead at the top. 3rd overall was Fermanagh man Garry Jennings with a great drive on his first visit to West cork Hope to see him back again next year. In the national category Brian Brogan took the honours after holding off Alan ring in his new Fiesta R5+. Once again I'd like to congratulate all involved and who took part in the event and to Thank all the people for turning out over the weekend and making this a very successful event. Day one down of the 2016 West Cork Rally. Some serious pace out on the stages today and combined with good weather made for a cracker of a first day. Coming into the overnight haul the results are as followed: 1: Donagh Kelly/Conor Foley-1:04:10:4 2: Keith Cronin/Mikie Galvin- +0:51.08 3:Gary Jennings/Rory Kennedy+0:21:2 4: Josh Moffet/John Rowan-+1:25:9 5: Sam Moffet/Karl Atkinson-+0:02:7 And in the national Brian Brogan leads Alan Ring by 0:13:5 and Adrian Hetherington in 3rd +0:19.3 Hope to see You all out there tomorrow for what should be a cracker of a second day. #westcorkrally
