We're delighted to be once again running the Walled Garden Cafe in ALTAMONT GARDENS, Co. Carlow. This week Altamont Plants are welcoming people near & far for Snowdrop week! We will be there all week serving beautiful smooth coffee, delicious home bakes & pipping hot soup. Don the wellies, hats & scarves & see you there x Open 11am-4pm, 11th-18th in ALTAMONT GARDENS. **Please not The Old Yard in Castledermot does NOT open until May 2nd.

So.... last year Nationwide came to film at The Old Yard. It all happened rather quickly (24hours) so with no prep whatsoever I found myself waffling away in front of the camera, naively thinking nobody can hear this only the camera man right? until I got a phone call to say its going to be aired this Monday 29th Jan. If your looking for me tomorrow evening I'll be hiding behind the sofa, head buried in a cushion, asking myself why in gods name did I not do some prep, you know, at least with the hairbrush in the bathroom mirror!!! 😳

With such a busy evening we never got to take any photos but one of our lovely visitors sent this to me last night. Our Christmas Fair is 1 weekend only. Today Saturday 12-8 & Sunday 12-8.
