Aghhhhh !! Machine slow ? We've had a good few machines in this last few weeks complaining of speed issues starting up. Windows 10 and other versions seem to have LOTS of updates to go through and some of them are quite big. They need to be given time to run or they will cause you problems. Do NOT turn the machine off leave it on and allow the process to complete. if the machine continues to "hang" you may need to have it looked at to clear the update backlog

*** DON'T PANIC *** Ransom ware attacks are happening at the minute and although it may have calmed there's always a chance there will be more , to increase you chance of NOT getting caught follow 2 SIMPLE STEPS.... 1. Run windows updates , they can be run from " Control Panel " and " Windows Updates " or in Windows 8 or Windows 10 type in "updates" in the search bar and this should give you the option to run your updates. 2. Update your antivirus - to be honest this is probably already happening as most antivirus packages set " Auto Update" as a default setting
