Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a style of counselling that focuses on the thoughts and feelings that drive behaviours. By addressing such thoughts and feelings one can identify distortions and work to change these in order to alter the resulting behaviours. It is a solution- focused approach which is proactive and beneficial for all stages in life.

facebook.comEspecially like the last point, emotional outlets are so important. As parents or guardians we tend to lean towards the “it’s ok”, “don’t cry”, “you’ll be fine” but sometimes we need to learn/teach the language of emotion and encourage outlets for release.
Very excited about this progress! Never be afraid to ask any service provider about qualification.
Something we all need to actively work at solving!!
Amazing!! The words of the song are simply genius. Great message to reincarnate in this generations young people (actually all of us!).
Spot on!! Excuse the language but it’s too good a point.
I’m not one for these reality shows at all but this has literally reduced me to floods of tears. So inspirational! Strong message for anyone who has been in the past, or is being presently, bullied.
It’s the biggest evil for our next generation in my opinion. The developing brain needs social interaction, “boredom” time and the opportunity to observe what’s around it.
“What we do in life echoes an eternity”. This is a statement of serious choice. How we think, what we do and thus how we feel is all within our own individual command. How will you command yours in 2018?! If 2017 brought trials and tribulations, rather than saying “good riddance” to it say “thank you” as you made it!! Look at what you’ve learned from it, it didn’t beat you. Collect strength from that because you did it, no one else. Happy new year to you all and I say, whatever is to come, BRING IT!
Absolutely!
