Wild? The wind isn't even 50kph - barely counts as a breeze on the Malin Head Scale. As long as the coffee isn't blown sideways out of the espresso machine, we can carry on making our fabulous lattes, cappuccinos, and infamous Hot Chocolate...
I had Banba's Crown all to myself this morning. Just the gentle hiss of the espresso machine and the call of the Choughs in the tower to keep me entertained....
Mud splatter on Banba Van 2 last week. It may just look mucky to you, but to me it is proof that building a 4 wheel drive coffee van was worth the effort. Only one van out today, but it is up at Banba's Crown Malin Head, and it is a glorious day to be there.....
Even with the best filters It might not make the prettiest picture, but our Guinness Pulled Pork has made a return, and is pretty flipping gorgeous. We pile it in a soft white bun, with our own crunchy Cabbage Slaw, and BBQ sauce, and serve it with our smokey chorizo roast potatoes....
Most scenic coffee shop in Ireland? Yesterday was also most windy and coldest coffee shop, but it just adds to the drama of the place, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else...
Malin Head. Windy, cold, and but totally awesome....
We have tweaked our Guinness & Chocolate cake recipe over the past 10 years and think it is just about perfect now....
