Our final national event for 2016 will take place this Saturday in Bagenalstown, Co Carlow as the National Ladies Inter-Club event returns having last been held in 2014. It will feature four teams, two from St bridgets, one from cunnigar along with defending champions Lakeside. We will have a closer look at the event later in the week on the website only to say it gets underway in Bagenalstown on Saturday at 10am.

PPUI President Mervyn Cooney pictured with the winning captains from today's winning teams in the National Gents Inter-Club Finals. On his left is Brian Mason (Parteen, Inter/Junior) and on his right is Dave Sexton (Fermoy, Scratch). Well done to both clubs on their wins today and thanks to St Bridgets on being great hosts for the day.
All over in the Scratch Final over and Fermoy have denied St Annes a third win with a 6-3 success in the decider. More to follow...
All over in the Inter/Junior Final and Parteen are 2016 winners after a 6.5 to 2.5 win over Deerpark in the decider. The Scratch Final is on the last nine holes with Fermoy still ahead of St Annes.
Fermoy lead St Annes 2.5 to 0.5 after the Scotch Foursomes games in the Scratch Final. Singles to get underway in due course.
Parteen lead Deerpark 2.5 to 0.5 after the Scotch Foursomes in the Gents Inter/Junior Final ahead of the start of the Singles matches.
It will be an all Cork Final in the Scratch Gents event as St Annes (8-1 winners over Deerpark) and Fermoy (7-2 victors over Bruff) will contest the decider. Final to get underway at 2pm approx.
It will be a Deerpark vs. Parteen Final in the Inter/Junior event after the Killarney side recorded a 7-2 victory over Tipperary Hills in their Semi-Final while Parteen were 6-3 winners over Cement. Final to begin at 1.30pm.
