Tom Shaw Farm Machinery was founded in 1988 by Tom Shaw, who's now the managing director of the company. Tom Shaw Farm Machinery became a limited company in 1995.

Over the years the business has expanded rapidly and is now one of the largest agricultural machinery retailers in Co. Offaly. Tom Shaw Farm Machinery is now main dealers for Same,Deutz-Fahr, Krone, Veneiri, McHale, HiSpec, Bredal, Conor, Quicke, Rossmore, Prodig, Fransgard and many more agencies in the midlands. We are also a member of the Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade Association.(FTMTA)

Tom Shaw Farm Machinery stores is managed by Peter Dolan and carries an extensive range of parts for most farm machinery. We also carry a large range of spare parts for Same and Deutz-Fahr tractors, McHale, Krone and Pottinger grass equipment, etc. We stock bearings, hydraulic fittings, filters, oil, tanker fittings, hoses and PTO parts.

We also stock a large range of tools, fencing, farm related equipment and merchandise including overalls jackets high-visibility jackets and safety gear, for example, safety goggles and steel-toe boots. We also stock a range of farm based toys. Delivery of parts can be arranged throughout Ireland.

At present our workshop consists of a team of three full time fitters, helped out seasonally by Tom himself. In order to keep up to date with the ever more technically advanced machinery on the market to date, the workshop has a full range of special tools for diagnostic and repair of all the machines we sell, including a top of the range dynamometer. The staff, including Tom, regularly attend all relevant service courses both in Ireland and over seas to keep up to date with all current models and developments.

Accounts and administration are managed by Violet Shaw and Siobhan Doyle. We have recently updated our software to allow us keep up with developments in this area.
