Little Academy Montessori is a sessional service catering for children aged 2 and half to 5 years, in a home from home environment. Little Academy Montessori is a sessional service located in Bettystown, Co Meath. It was established in 2007 and is operated and managed by myself Marie Reilly. I hold a BA in Early Childhood Studies, and qualified in Montessori from St Nicholas Montessori College. I work closely with Meath Tiny Talks Project providing support in early language development through early detection, intervention and prevention using the Elklan Speech and Language Programme. My service is committed to a Montessori based curriculum that empowers each child to develop and grow to their potential and at their own pace. I also put a great emphasis on play and acknowledge the importance of play in early childhood. I strive to create a safe, fun, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for all our children, and provide a wide range of opportunities using the Montessori philosophy of education. Little Academy value our children’s parents and encourage their participation in our service.
