Saturday update: Not a win, But not a bad start to the season for the ladies thirds, for some it was their first time playing in the adult league and for others it it was a rude awakening in match fitness! A super start with some beautiful play around the back by lydia, Rhoda, sorcha and emer "chances' whelehan! mid field.. elaine butts & robynne played their socks off while newbie niamh calnan shone and deserved her girl of the match title at the end. hannah kate, nicole & aoife never stopped running with hk scoring a wonderful short to make it 1-0 at half time... blackrock drew with a short corner... changes were made and while erika, emily, a. dempsey, roisin played their hearts out blackrock scored a scrappy late winner off a rachel barry save to snatch it in the last 2 mins.... lots learned and so many positives to taken be from the game!!!! With a spevial thanks to Clinton 'specsavers' sweetnam for umpiring the game 😂😂😂 #keepthedreamalive
