The Ballyshannon Agricultural Show takes place on Sunday 20th August 2017. Keep Up To Date at www.ballyshannonshow.com. "A GREAT FAMILY DAY OUT" The Ballyshannon Agricultural Show has a long history of providing competition and entertainment for the community and still continues to the present day. The show was a very important social occasion and which ranked only second to the Harvest Fair in its importance to the farming and townsfolk alike. The competitions in the cattle, sheep horses and agricultural classes helped to improve standards of production and great pride was also evident in the winners of home baking, craft and flower competitions. A show dance was and still is the highlight of Agricultural Show which is held on the night of the Show. Ballyshannon Agricultural Show is affiliated to the Irish Shows Association and Irish Pony Society

The show will be holding a compition for the Most Appropriately Dressed Person which will Kindly sponsored by Irish Ferries who have give a Prize of a return Journey for 2 Adults and 2 Children on Irish Ferries

This year show schedule should be up on the shows website within the next fee days to download. We will be emailing out a copy to all the email addresses we have on our database on Monday. Due to the increase in the postage cost this year we taking the measure to reduce the running costs by doing this we hope to be able in vest in the savings in show itself
