Hi Everyone, A get together in Kiernans Bar, Ballymahon to celebrate and to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who turned up, helped out in anyway with our recent Tractor Run in aid of Ballymahon Day Care Centre will take place this Friday night the 3rd of May. Finger food served on the night. Everyone welcomed. Hope to see you ALL on the night.

We are in the process of getting thank you letters out to all the businesses and people who have come on board with sponsorship and donations. As Breda said on the day of the tractor run that proceeds from the tractor run is to bridge the shortfall in funding for a renovation project that needs to be carried, so the centre gets to use all the space they have. Any funds that are left over will go towards buying equipment and appropriate furniture. As this is public money that was raised, we want to keep you informed how the money is spent. Ceilings are to be lowered in the main area walls insulated and painted, small rooms at the rear, pictured below some of the rooms are not fit for purpose so walls to be knocked and a new lay out for proper facilities to be constructed. This will all have a positive impact on the people who use the centre. Fundraisering is always ongoing so the clients can enjoy, activities, subside cooked meals and other services. Breda along with other local ladies are running /walking the women's mini marathon in aid of Ballymahon Day Care Centre. So if any ladies that would like to join them contact Breda or myself for a sponsorship card. Don't forget our night out this Friday night in Kiernans Bar Ballymahon, finger food served.
