Fort Lodge is a substantial detached residence hidden down an avenue off the main road finished to the highest standard boasting 4 large double bedrooms, 2 ensuite shower rooms, 1 family bathroom, huge open plan kitchen/dining/seating area with a large antique table seating 8 people, an impressive fireplace with a solid fuel stove. The elegant reception room has an open fireplace with a door leading out onto the large courtyard leading to a BBQ area with outdoor furniture and stables.
There is a private gravelled driveway leading to the house and yard. Ample parking.
It is fitted throughout with all the modern conveniences you could want including SKY satellite TV and also has hi-speed wireless Internet for those who feel the need to keep in touch with the modern world. The house sleeps upto 8 adults with plenty of room for additional single beds in 2 of the downstairs bedrooms (upon request).

Consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 ensuite shower room, 1 family bathroom & a fitness room.
The main front door leads you into an impressive hallway with 3 double bedrooms, family bathroom and staircase to the upper floor:
Bedroom 2: Large bright double bedroom with ample storage space, double, door to ensuite shower room, 2 windows overlooking the front of the property.
Bedroom 3: Large double bedroom with ample storage, 2 windows to the front of the property.
Bedroom 4: Large double bedroom – Mother/Fathers dream room, this is totally set up for kids, there is a cot bed, changing unit, and high chair. Ample storage cupboards/drawers, wardrobe (kids toys, stairgates all to make like just that little bit easier). Please note that if required all the children’s items can be removed upon request. There are 2 windows overlooking the frontof the property

"The whole family decided to take a holiday together this year and found Fort Lodge on the internet. We couldn't have been more delighted when we saw the house and met the proprietors. The house was perfect size for us as there were 10 of us in total including the 3 children and our daughter with special needs. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed - even down to the toys for the children. Maria & Joe were the perfect hosts and made sure we needed for nothing while we were there. They were so friendly and were on hand at all times if needed. The house is so spacious with TV's in every room we never got in each other's way. It was the perfect base to visit Bunratty Castle, Cliffs of Moher and the Alwee Caves. Ennis town with its many boutiques is a fabulous shopping town also which we discovered. Oh wow, what a fantastic review - Thank you Kacie! "The hospitality of Joe and Marie was beyond words. They were the most charming and kind people to open their home to us. The house is huge and gorgeous with lovely decor and plenty of beds and baths. We were close to Ennis city centre to pop in for dinner and some pints but the kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we chose. The property is absolutely stunning and "Lady" and "Daisy" the hosts animals made our children not miss home. This home is a great location for day trips to Cliffs of Moher, Shannon, Galway and Lahinch. Perfect centrally located for the west coast and a short drive from Shannon airport. Thank you Joe and Marie. We shall miss you!!"
