Kinvara Community Radio

Our Tutor, Tom Flanagan, spent the last two weekends with the Kinvara Community Radio students as they broadcast live during the Kinvara Christmas market. The standard of broadcasting was incredible. Well done to all and a big thank you to Tom for giving up of his time and of course his never-ending patience! The radio skills training is open to all and is delivered here in Gort Education and Training Centre.

Wonderful morning at the centre showcasing the courses on offer including Childcare, Community Care, Radio Production, Horticulture, Art & Design, Upholstery. The Examiner who attended here at the weekend commented on the Upholstery and Art & Design students' work in particular saying it could be used as 'model examples' throughout the country. Well done to all our learners and tutors. All donations today go to Gort Cancer Support
