To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christ like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the Church and their life This message of God stirred the heart of Bishop Renato Alog and paved the way for the establishment of Jesus the Living Gospel. He was given the vision to establish a church which will bring people to Christ, where God's love will prevail, and where the sorrow of this world will forever be oblivious…a place where people will find joy, forgiveness and encouragement.
So in 1995, he flew to Hongkong to put this dream into reality. God proved more than what Bishop Rene envisioned, He made the church flourish, He opened doors of opportunities, and He even gave Bishop Rene a loving wife in the person of Rev. Jewly who was his extension arm in this mission. This launched the start of JLG's wonderful history.
JLG Hongkong launched their first public worship with only 5 attendees, a promising start for a great future destined for the church! Since then, the mission of reaching out to people became the heart of the ministry. Every given opportunity for growth was taken as a step of faith towards the beautiful destiny God has prepared for those who love Him.
Another milestone had been made on October 2003, when Jesus the Living Gospel Philippines was formally registered to the Securities and Exchange Commission. The newly founded church became an open family who embraced the Filipino tradition and lived according to the life Christ lived in example. Upholding the virtue, "there is wisdom in the council of many," it was decided and agreed upon that a Board of Directors shall preside over the church's policies, decisions and programs.
After ten years of God's unceasing faithfulness, JLG has exceeded what people thought was impossible. At present, there are 220 gospel centers all over the Philippines and abroad with approximately 12,000 members. God has commissioned almost 200 full time, non-full time and lay ministers to be the modern soldiers of this generation's spiritual warfare.
JLG Philippines has made developments, achieved milestones and adapted to the innovations of this virtual generation. The Pastoral Care Group was birthed to give rise to the Children for Jesus ministry, the Wholehearted Singles for Jesus ministry, the Couples for Jesus ministry and our youth arm, Zero Gravity. The D12 discipleship program has also been truly effective in making people feel a sense of belongingness in the church and in the family of God. It has spurted fast growth in many of our churches and is continuously honing believers to be effective disciples.
Bigger Christian organizations and leaders have also acknowledged our efforts in bringing the good news to the people. In fact, Bishop EfraimTendero, PCEC National Director, graced Bishop Rene’s bishopric anniversary last October 16, 2011 in line with our 8th foundation celebration.
Every great organization has its own story of beginnings. Jesus the Living Gospel does not aspire to become great, but to make the name of God the greatest. However, making this possible meant that each one of us would have to take on the great commitment to the great commandment to fulfill the great commission to grow a great church. The challenge is not only on the leadership of the church but most importantly, on each and every member.

Welcoming and orientation for Survivor: Family Summer Camp 2017. :) It all starts today.
Urgent Updates: Para sa mga JLG Campers, Amin pong ipinapaalam sa bawat isa na ang alis ng mga busses bukas sa Cubao ay sa ganap na alas dyes ng umaga (10am). Ito po ay sa kadahilanang masyadong malaki ang ating grupo at hindi tayo pinayagan ng CCT Management na dumating sa ating campsite ng mas maaga sa alas dose. Ninais po nila na tayo’y makarating doon ng alas dose y’ medya ng tanghali (12:30nn) upang sa ating pagdating ay nakaalis na din ang anim (6) na grupo na ating papalitan. Muli, nais naming ipahatid na ang bawat isa’y naka kain na ng kanilang agahan (breakfast) bago pa lamang umalis ang mga busses sa ating meeting place. Maging ang ating pananghalian (lunch) ay atin ng kakainin habang nasa byahe. Ito’y sa kadahilanang hindi na pinapayagan ng CCT Management na magdala ng pagkain sa loob ng campsite. Amin ding ipinapaalam para sa mga campers na didiretso na sa ating campsite na ating siguraduhin na tayo’y darating din sa ating campsite sa ganap na alas dose y’ medya ng tanghali (12:30nn). At katulad ng ibang campers ay nakakain na din ng kanilang pananghalian. Maraming Salamat po sa inyong lahat. Magkikita tayo bukas at ating ipagdiwang ang kabutihan ng Diyos sa ating mga buhay. Pagpalain po tayong lahat ng ating Panginoon!

Ito’y isang napakalaking gawain na kung saan ang bawat isa’y lubos na nasasabik sa kung anong bagay ang kanilang tatanggpin mula sa ating Panginong Diyos. Nais naming ipaalala na ang ating Summer Camp ay gagawin sa: CCT – Tagaytay Retreat and Training Center, Kaykulot Road, Brgy. Sungay East, Tagaytay City, Cavite. Para sa mga campers na didiretso sa ating campsite, ang landmark na kailangang hanapin ay ang Picnic Grove,sa tapat nito ay naroroon ang kalye na inyong babagtasin patungong CCT. Sa mga manggagaling naman sa Cubao, ang alis ng ating mga buses ay eksaktong alas otso (8:00) ng umaga ng April 28. Ang ating meeting place ay sa JLG Cubao sa address na: Mezzanine Floor, City Tower Condominium, 810 Aurora Boulevard, Cubao, Quezon City. Muli, nais naming ipaalala na ang oras ng ating hapunan ay magsisimula ng alas sais (6:00) ng gabi. Kaya nararapat lamang po na ang lahat ay nakakain na ng kanilang almusal. Maaari din po lamang na ang lahat ay magdala ng kanilang pananghalian at tayong lahat ay sama-samang kakain sa loob mismo ng ating campsite. Huwag kalilimutan ang pagdadala ng tuwalya at toiletries, mga kasuotan na pang- sports, isang puting pantaas para sa araw ng Sunday. Look at this top of the class accomodation. :) It is waiting for you! Make sure to pack everything that you need especially your toiletries, towels, slippers, sports attire, white dress for sunday service, and lots of excitement. 2 days to go! :) If you wish to turn on your airconditioning system, additional cost of 100 per head per night will be incurred. But the fresh and cool Tagaytay breeze will suffice. ;)
