Shop selling handmade ceramics mainly local Hong Kong potters and some from Beijing. "接福" (Receiving Good Fortune) - by So Mui MA / Hong Kong ceramic artist In Chinese, the pronouncation of "褔" (good fortune) and "蝠" (bat) are the same, which makes bat used to be a popular symbol of good fortune in Chinese society. People decorated their house and roof by bat decorations or bat-pattern roof tiles, to imply good fortune is always in the house.
