Die Galerie wurde 2007 gegründet und zeigt jährlich vier bis sechs Ausstellungen mit Gemälden, Skulpturen, Graphik und Fotografien zeitgenössischer Künstler. Sie trägt den Namen “Gallery 21", um damit zu signalisieren, dass sie hauptsächlich interessante Kunst des 21. Jahrhunderts anbieten. Der Schwerpunkt der Ausstellungstätigkeit liegt auf Kunst aus Osteuropa, vor allem aus Russland und den ehemaligen Sowjetrepubliken.

facebook.com„SPACE OF FREEDOM. Let`s buy it!“ is a selection of very interesting works by an extraordinary amazing urban artist, BUJA (born 1978). BUJA is a German contemporary artist whose large-scale paintings have already won great public acclaim. He finds inspiration in the international yellow press, politics, pop culture as well as in the street art.
The Gallery 21 offers a guided tour every Saturday from October 21st through November 25th, 1-2 pm. The tour is free of charge and will introduce the key works of the current exhibition as well as the concept behind it. And by the way Street Art has so many other great and successfull artists, not only Banksy. So do not miss the chance to discover Buja in our gallery! :)

"FREIRAUM. Let's buy it!" lautet der Titel und das Motto der neuen Ausstellung von Buja, mit der die Gallery 21 ihren Ausstellungsbereich zur Shopping-Zone erklärt, um ihre Besucher zum Kunstkauf zu inspirieren. Für Buja ist Freiraum eine notwendige Bedingung, die seine Malerei vital, vielfältig und erlebbar macht. BUJA ist das Pseudonym von René Burjack (* 1978), der sein Kunststudium an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Heidelberg bei Prof. Dr. Mario Urlaß absolviert hat. Oft besitzen seine großformatigen plakativen Kunstwerke eine Mehrdeutigkeit, die zum Nachdenken anregt. Sie knüpfen an Werke von Sigmar Polke (1941-2010), Blek Le Rat (* 1951) und Michel Majerus (1967-2002) an.
