Site History – Now and Then
The southwest of Germany is well-known for his high concentration of machine manufacturers. The rural region Hohenlohe in Baden-Württemberg developed into the nationwide center of special purpose machinery manufacturing. The facility in Crailsheim is considered to be the origin of many of these companies. In 1952 the success story of the current Bosch site began with the Kilian & Co. GmbH and the H. Strunck & Co. GmbH. The site in Crailsheim was acquired by Bosch in 1984 and within 30 years it has developed into the headquarters of the Pharma Business Unit.
