Here comes a new post on our category "Insights into the MBA" and the last module class in summer term 2017 in "Corporate Social Responsibility" with our lecturer Sabine Te Heesen. Bit belayed but absolutely worth to post it. Read the short report: In this lecture the group together analyzed example case studies of companies, an NGO and a certification organization in cases of CSR concerns. Ms Te Heesen presented and scrutinized different sustainability reports of organizations to understand different methods companies use to implement these reports and their external communication uses. Furthermore, Tanja Riesop from RSAG, a H-BRS alumni, honored the class with a guest lecture on the sustainability report RSAG is constructing and the methods they are using. Together they discussed different sustainability reporting standards (for example GRI or DNK), the importance of stakeholder relations and dialogue, as well as the significance of the supply chain analysis and management structures to encourage and support corporate sustainability. The group is already looking forward to the field trip to RSAG in September 2017. But for the first, semester is over, first exem period is accomplished and summer break lies ahead. Enjoy our summer semester vacation guys, you absolutely deserve it! We are happy to welcome you back on campus in mid of september.
