Es muss nicht immer die ganz große Reise sein, um den eigenen fliegerischen Horizont zu erweitern. Zwölf UL-Besatzungen haben sich in Formation auf den kurzen Weg von Saarmund (EDCS) zum internationalen Verkehrsflughafen Berlin-Tegel (TXL) gemacht. Mit von der Partie waren sechs REMOS-Flugzeuge. It doesn’t need a long journey to expand your horizons in aviation. 12 ultralight aircraft, including six REMOS, flew the short distance from Saarmund (EDCS) to the international airport Berlin-Tegel (TXL). REMOS GXiS bei „Mustang meets Mustang“ Starke Autos, historische Flugzeuge, grandiose Stimmung – und unsere REMOS GXiS mittendrin! Am Samstag, 3. September, waren wir mit unserem neuesten Modell am Flugplatz Neubrandenburg bei "Mustang meets Mustang" dabei. Das Treffen historischer Flugzeuge und amerikanischer Autos war für uns eine willkommene Gelegenheit, um unsere GXiS einmal dort zu präsentieren, wo sich nicht nur Piloten treffen. Mit ihrem Rotax-Einspritzmotor, ihrer Top-Avionik und ihrer exzellenten Verarbeitung kam sie bei Fliegern und Nicht-Piloten gleichermaßen gut an. Manch ein Fan amerikanischer Autos dürfte jetzt jedenfalls darüber nachdenken, selbst den Flugschein zu machen, um in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft vielleicht selbst eine REMOS zu fliegen. REMOS GXiS comes to “Mustang meets Mustang” Muscle cars made in the U.S., classic planes and a great atmosphere – and our REMOS GXiS was right in the middle of it! On Saturday, September 3rd, we took part in "Mustang meets Mustang" at Neubrandenburg airport. This meeting of historic aircraft and classic U.S. cars was a perfect opportunity to showcase our latest model not only to pilots, but also to people who do not fly. Especially the fans of American muscle cars loved the REMOS GXiS thanks to its fuel injected engine, its state-of-the-art avionics suite and its high built quality. Some of the people we met in Neubrandenburg now consider making their pilot’s certificate in order to fly a REMOS themselves.

Oshkosh 2016: REMOS GXiS came to the U.S. and we have a new dealer We joined the world’s greatest Fly-in to show our new REMOS GXiS to you! Besides we now have a new dealer. Read more what has happened during a very special week of aviation. First of all: REMOS has a new dealer in the U.S.! David Spano and Tony Sabos from SimplyFLY in Aurora (KARR), close to Chicago, will support REMOS from now on. They operate their flight school with a REMOS fleet and are very happy with these aircraft. We will tell you more about those enthusiastic guys and their extraordinary approach to aviation in the following days – stay tuned! SimplyFLY’s home base was where our Oshkosh-adventure began: We shipped the prototype of the REMOS GXiS, call sign D-EPDC, and a factory new REMOS GXNXT, or GXnXES as it is called in the US, to Aurora, call sign N434GX. After all the paperwork was completed, we flew the two planes up to KOSH in formation on Friday before the Air Venture. On Sunday, we took the opportunity to show our newest version of the REMOS, the GXiS, to several international aviation journalists, demonstrating the aircraft in full both on the ground and in flight by flying out of KOSH and back in via the Ripon-Fisk-Approach. Among them was Dan Johnson, a well-known LSA-specialist. In his report, which he published online on bydanjohnson.com the same evening, he calls the REMOS GXiS a “Mercedes of LSA”. Together, we came up with a new word: “Smartification”! Why? The REMOS GXiS is not only a pleasure to fly, but also contains many unique features that enhance safety and make flying even more comfortable. SMARTStart for instance makes it possible to start-up the engine with only one push to a button. The fuel injected Rotax 912 iS Sport is very efficient and reliable. All the new avionics make you feel like flying an airliner. All this, and many more features, we think is worth to be called “smartification in aviation”. The following days were just great. We met many customers during the show, talked to pilots who fell in love with our aircraft and visited our business partners, especially the guys from Dynon Avionics. We also welcomed some of America’s and Europe’s most important aviation journalists at our press conference and at the booth. This whole week was very exciting for all of us and we’re looking forward to the next EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh next year. ------- Oshkosh 2016: USA-Premiere der REMOS GXiS und ein neuer Händler Oshkosh ist das weltgrößte Fly-in – und REMOS war wieder dabei. Zum ersten Mal haben wir die REMOS GXiS in den USA präsentiert. Außerdem haben wir einen neuen Händler. Das Wichtigste zuerst: Wir haben einen neuen Händler in den USA. David Spano and Tony Sabos von SimplyFLY in Aurora (KARR), in der Nähe von Chicago, unterstützen REMOS ab sofort. Die beiden betreiben eine REMOS-Flotte in ihrer Flugschule, so dass der Schritt zum Händler beinahe schon eine logische Konsequenz war. In den kommenden Tagen werden wir die beiden Fluglehrer und Unternehmer mit ihrer außergewöhnlichen Perspektive auf die Luftfahrt näher vorstellen! Bei SimplyFLY hat unser Oskosh-Aufenthalt dann schließlich auch so richtig begonnen: Wir haben den Prototyp der REMOS GXiS, D-EPDC, und eine brandneue REMOS GXNXT, bzw. GXnXES wie sie in den USA genannt wird, nach Aurora bringen lassen, N434GX. Von dort ging es nach Erledigung aller Formalitäten am Freitagnachmittag im Formationsflug zum Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh. Den Sonntag haben wir genutzt, um die GXiS einigen internationalen Pressevertretern vorzustellen. Dazu zählte neben einer ausgiebigen Einweisung am Boden selbstverständlich auch ein Flug, was dazu führte, dass wir den Ripon-Fisk-Approach noch mehrfach erfliegen konnten. Unter ihnen war auch Dan Johnson, ein international anerkannter Kenner der LSA-Branche. In seinem Flugbericht, den er noch am Sonntagabend online auf bydanjohnson.com veröffentlichte, nennt er die REMOS GXiS den “Mercedes of LSA”. Gemeinsam haben wir an diesem Tag ein neues Wort erfunden: “Smartification”! Warum das? Die REMOS GXiS zu fliegen macht nicht nur Spaß, unser Zweisitzer verfügt auch über viele clevere Features, die das Fliegen sicherer und komfortabler machen. Dank SMARTStart zum Beispiel genügt ein Knopfdruck, um den Motor anzulassen. Der Rotax 912 iS Sport ist ausgesprochen sparsam und zuverlässig. Und die topmoderne Avionik lässt so manches Airliner-Cockpit alt aussehen. Und dieses Gesamtpaket, so finden wir, darf man ruhig als “smartification in aviation” bezeichnen. Die folgenden Messetage waren einfach nur großartig. Es gab ein Wiedersehen mit vielen treuen Kunden. Wir haben Piloten kennengelernt, die von der REMOS ziemlich beeindruckt waren. Und natürlich haben wir unseren Geschäftspartnern einen Besuch abgestattet, allen voran der Mannschaft von Dynon Avionics. Sowohl auf unserer Pressekonferenz als auch am Stand konnten wir weitere bekannte Luftfahrt-Journalisten begrüßen, denen wir einen ersten detaillierten Eindruck von unserer neuen REMOS GXiS vermittelt konnten. Nach einer aufregenden Woche freuen wir uns schon jetzt auf das nächste EAA AirVenture nächstes Jahr!
