Baby, it's C O L D outside. How are you protecting your skin? Here are my top 8 tips: 1. Most likely your summer skincare just won't cut it in winter. If you use a lotion, switch to a thicker moisturiser or balm. I love the Frankincense Intense Cream or Wild Rose Beauty Balm. 2. You may not think it is sunny, but there are still harmful UV rays in the winter. Use a cream with an SPF during the day to moisturise and protect your skin. I recommend our Wild Rose Moisturiser with SPF 30. 3. Give your skin some extra protection if you're outside a lot. A slick of Wild Rose Beauty Balm across the cheeks and nose will work wonders to save your skin from the wind and cold. 4. Exfoliate your skin a couple of times a week to get rid of your dead skins and your glowing skin back. My favourite is the Honey and Orange Facial Scrub. 5. Give your skin an extra boost with a regular facial mask. Our White Tea Enriching Facial Mask is perfect. You can also use your Wild Rose Beauty Balm as a mask too. 6. Support your skin from the inside out. Remember to drink plenty of water to balance out the dehydrating effects of central heating. Think about your diet. The summer salads, nuts and seeds are often replaced by stodgy foods in the winter. Try to continue to eat a rainbow of fruit and vegetables, nuts and seeds etc. It's a good idea to nourish your skin with some supplements at this time of year too. Remember to always have a moisturising hand cream in your bag and apply regularly. I love the Bee Lovely Hand Cream. Wearing gloves also protects your skin from the harsh weather. 8.
