Kunsthalle/PLU41
Description
PLU41 is a non-profit artspace The goal of PLU41 is to deliver shows of contemporary art with a diversity that can reflect as many discourses as the curatorial group Malene Landgreen, Daniel Salomon and Thorbjørn Bechmann see fit. That means that the program will span over the hole specter of contemporary art with no discrimination as to form, material, language or other. PLU41 will work with international artists, representing none, but presenting a lot. A central understanding in the curatorial group is the need for PLU41 to engage socially with the art-scene. Therefore an extensive program of events as well as a weekly dining will be build. In that sense PLU41 is not merely an exhibition hall but also a meeting-point, an outreach project and will hopefully become a pivotal of social engagement. For the first exhibition a program of concerts and performances will run every Thursday as well as the dinner-club.
