Host of the F18 Worlds 2015 is the Kieler Yacht-Club, which annually conducts the famous Kieler Woche together with three further clubs. The professional sailing club exhibits expert knowledge in organizing excellent international Sailing Events (ORC WM, J/80 WM, Star EM, 505 EM, German Sailing Grand Prix). The races of the world championship will be staged on the well known Kieler Woche race area.
Apart from the top-notch infrastructure for large sailing events ashore we also expect ideal wind and weather conditions in august and will offer a professional orga team and a highly offshore specialized jury.
An exciting framework program for the competitors will be offered in the Race-Village close beside the berths. Flush against the Race-Village you will find the camp site. Numerousness accommodation located in Schilksee and Strande are accessible by feet.
The Olympic Sailing Center Kiel-Schilksee offers all kinds of restaurants and supermarkets within 2.000m. And the family friendly sand beach and shallow water invites you to go swimming after sailing.
