Der familiäre Charme und die deutsch-französische Küche laden Sie zum entspannten Verweilen ein,um weit ab vom Stress den Alltag zu vergessen.               Unser Restaurant ist ländlich gelegen und gehört zur westlichsten Gemeinde Deutschlands. Wir bieten Ihnen Ruhe und Erholung sowie Entspannung für Körper und Geist. Wir laden Sie ein unsere deutsch-französische Küche zu entdecken und ein paar angenehme Stunden zu genießen. Unser Personal steht Ihnen mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung und freut sich auch über niederländische oder englische Gäste. Beide Sprachen werden von unseren Servicekräften gesprochen.

The Hotel-Restaurant Peters is a family establishment and the building itself was built in 1650. Parts of it were bombed around the 1940s but renewed again later. In the beginning it was a country inn and became a hotel and restaurant when the present owners Franz and Sofia assumed the occupation in 1991. They tried to keep the special charme of the historical rooms but also changed a lot to get a cozy atmosphere and a high quality restaurant. Nowadays the restaurant has two beautiful rooms with a personal touch and a nice bar area to welcome our guests. One of the rooms, called "Geloaghkamer" has an open fire place to keep you warm and cozy in wintertimes. There are seats for about 40 people.It also shows lots of old furnitures and accessoires from the beginning of the country-inn. The other room, called " the Old Room", because of its about 80 years old wallpaper, has 26 seats. The restaurant built a huge wintergarden 5 years ago, here you can find another 4 tables to rest, eat and enjoy the nice warm weather. We also offer a poolbillard and a football table to hang around and spend an amusing time together e.g. with your kids, family or collegaues. For more entertainment the restaurant also has a nine pins alley. You are welcome to rend it for birthday, christmas or forwell parties. There we also offer you little menues or à la carte dishes to choose. For bigger parties we have a party hall. There`s enough space for 60 up to 180 people. We can offer you different kinds of buffets to take care of any special wishes. If you need a place to stay e.g. going back to the States or coming to Germany we have a nice appartement area to stay. Selfkant-Höngen is close to the dutch border, so it`s a short way to Schinnen and a good connection to Geilenkirch (GK). You can reach both under 20 minutes. Shops and stores are just around the corner, easy to reach in 5 minutes.

All staff members are able to speak English fluently so that there shouldn`t be any language problems also our menues are available in English.
If you want to visit us, please make a short reservation, because it`s always the safer way to get a table, if you are visiting us with more than 4 people. ;-)
