Having fun enjoying this lovely Chateau Vignol 2016, AOC Bordeaux Entre-Deux-Mers. I've decided to pair it with a spicy oriental celery, chickpea soup. Yum, yum! Very happy with the combination! It is always good to try something new. @ 9,50€, you can't go wrong with this white in your cellar.

One evening... 2 Crèmants 3 Whites 5 Reds ...lots of laughs, good information, and amazing wines! What do you rely on when you remove the appellation, the price, the vine, and the name of the wine? The only thing you have left... your "personal" impression. It was great fun discovering these wines, with such an amazing group of people. **I would love to plan the perfect wine tasting for you!**

Moulin des Chênes Lirac 2011 AOC Lirac Cinsault 45% Syrah 32% Grenache rouge 17% Mourvèdre 6% 14% vol €15,50 A full, soft, generous wine, deep crimson in colour with notes of red currant and blackberry fruit aromas and lovely freshness in the mouth. You will also find a hint of provincial herbs and licorice. About the vineyard - Lirac lies to the west, across the river from Châteauneuf-du-Pape in Southern Rhône. Conditions for Lirac are similar to Châteauneuf-du-Pape: both are Mediterreanean in climate with over 2500 hours of sunlight per year and a dry growing season that ensures consistently ripe, flavoursome wines.
