This is the official page of the IFSA local committee Göttingen. The International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA) is the global network for students in forest sciences. It unites approximately 3000 students in about 73 member associations (called Local Committees) in over 54 countries. IFSA is a non-governmental, non for profit and non religious organisation entirely run by students for students.

IFSA Germany Meeting in Ruhpolding - IFSA goes sledding On these pictures you can get a feeling how much fun we had sledding in the winter wonderland. Our thanks go to the OC IFSA Freising for organizing this awesome event.
Some of our members will give you an insight in international events you can join with IFSA. So, there will be: 1. A report about the UN Climate Change Conference in Marrakech 2016 by Bran 2. A short presentation on the IUFRO given by Lisa who is the IUFRO Liason Officer of IFSA 3. An overview of IFSA International by Yagmur We will provide some snacks and fruits for your well being :) We are looking forward to meet you on Monday! The event will take place in FSR 4.1 in Büsgenweg 4. All presentations will be held in English

Wir sind die International Forestry Student's Association, kurz: IFSA. Mit uns könnt ihr Forststudenten aus aller Welt kennenlernen und die Welt bereisen. Wie das genau funktioniert, könnt ihr dann bei unserem Einführungsabend erfahren. Wir freuen uns auf euch! Welcome to everyone, freshers and old hands at our faculty! We would like invite you to our introductory meeting at the Bar Salamanca. We are the Local Committee of the International Forestry Student's Association (IFSA). The IFSA enables you to meet forestry students from all over the world and to attend meetings in Europe and beyond. How that works and even more you can learn at the meeting in a nice atmosphere with food and drinks. We look forward to meet you!
