We respond to a call of the community to build safe hubs for equal education. Sharing knowledge, granting opportunities!

vimeo.com/bookfeeding/about Bookfeeding Project is an association aiming at providing books and educational materials to communities in need. We create our libraries in cooperation with local NGO's and organizations as a part of already existing project but we also build libraries as independent projects. We aim at creating self-sustainable and enviromently friendly projects in which you too can get involved and help. If you have any unwatned, unused or old books you can send them directly to our libraries, drop them to one of our collection points or visit any of the projects and bring them with you!

You can alternatively contact us via email: hello@bookfeeding.org

Due to unforseen circumstancs we might have to relocate our library in Madagascar, we are therefore unable to host volunteers in Madagascar until further notice. In the meantime the books will be used by our partner Mobile Library so there will still be access to them! Thank you for understanding Yours, Bookfeeding Team

Colouring books, face painting, jigsaw puzzles... just a brief list of things that Lucie brought to Koguta library when she came back to say 'hi' after a year! Kids still remember her and her cooking class. Lucy said the library is full of kids every day and some of the parents are also coming to borrow books to read at home! Thank you all for your help with spreading love, education and access to books :)

So many great news for our Bookfeeding library in Madagascar!!! Not only will our library get a new roof soon but thanks to Madagascar Mobile Library also some solar pannels will be installed! That means that the families can get more light without having to spend money on candles. Better reading conditions and access to education for all!

Our volunteer Lisa just came back from our library in Madagascar. Saturday is by far the busiest day for our library, however kids are coming every day. Drawing seems to be the favourite thing to do for the little ones!

For some communities building a library is just a beginning! We are delighted to see our Offinso community in Ghana actively and independently looking for ways of improving the educational facilities and with that expanding the opportunities the children there have. Our Bookfeeding library offers new educational material but more space for studying was needed. Zacccharius worked very hard to find ways and people who could help him to build more classrooms - and the hard work paid off! New classrooms and more safe and educational space will be ready for next semester! Great Job Offinso!
