Our former company student Robert Wiest had finished his studies in September 2015 and joined our sales team in January 2016. In between these dates he and his mate Manuel cycled through the Indian state of Uttarakhand and crossed Nepal from west to east. They cycled (when possible) and hiked the Himalayan Annapurna Circuit, sometimes sleeping in mud-clad huts or in Buddhist mountain villages, virtually carried their bikes over Throng La Pass and visited Suklaphanta, Bardia National Park and the Madhesh on the way. After a total of 3000 Km in the saddle and 48000 meters of altitude in their legs, we welcome him back and hope he will show the same spirit of toughness, creativity and optimism, that he demonstrated on his tour in Asia, also in the new job here @Handtmann.

Handtmann received the invitation from the International Centre for Brewing Science @ The University of Nottingham to lecture on beer filtration and stabilization again this year. For our Sales Manager Axel Jany it was a great opportunity to discuss beer & technology with fellow brewmasters from around the globe.

Andy Ellis, Head Cellarman at Revolution Brewing is well pleased with our „Hop to the Top“ Dry Hopping System. The correct amount of dry hop is pushed gently and continuously to the tank top in less than 10 minutes. The result is a truly rebellious tasty – try the Anti-Hero IPA - Cheers!

Throwback Thursday: When we look back, we think about the lovely evening during the BrauBeviale 2015 in Nürnberg, where we went out for dinner with our customers and friends. The evening was full of joy and fun. It´s always a fantastic atmosphere when we have the opportunity to feast with these great guys. Thanks a lot for this unforgettable evening!
