They emerge in various ways and mean different things for each of us. We want to open up a discussion, hear your opinions and find how they might overlap, exclude, include, intersect and mingle. This is an invitation to re-configure, re-draw, re-imagine, re-think and re-discover the ways in which we consider limits and boundaries, to disentangle rigid borders and challenge assumptions. What if our boundaries have been misplaced? How do we ground them? How do we respond to them? How do we share the planet? Can we nest instead of settle? Luisa Greenfield's video installation, History Lessons By Comparison that she presented this summer at the Transart Residency will be part of Berlin Art Week and on display at Akademie der Künste from Sept. 14- Nov. 19, 2017, in the exhibition, Tell it to the Stones on the work of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet. 10 years ago video artist and experimental musician Niko Solorio made his musical debut in Kassel performing under the moniker of POCKET NIKO. He returns on June 14th to perform updated versions of some of his older material while presenting songs from his forthcoming album entitled ANGEL. Solorio's musical stylings have been described as “Neo-Medieval-Minimalist-Electro-Pop” as well as “Global-Electro-SuperCorn-with 90’s Fetish”.
