IUBH Student Common Room
Description
As a Student organization the SCR is designed to represent the student Body of the IUBH by providing a framework for student involvement and activities. Derived from the term “Junior Common Room (JCR)”, the Student Common Room (SCR) describes a student organization whose main aim is to represent the respective student community. The term “SCR” includes all students, rather than only undergraduate students, in respect to the diversity of students and programs on a relatively small campus.
The basic idea of the SCR is to provide students with the opportunity to become involved in their campus life and create a system whereby actions can be taken for the benefit of the student body.
This not only includes direct representation, but also ranges from community events to all aspects of student life.
