Mon Plaisir continues to welcome guests from all over the world, many of whom come to the Aveyron at this time of year to avoid the crowds and the intense heat of the summer months. Tous les petits plus et les attentions délicates (produits démaquillants, peignoirs de bains, boissons à disposition dans un petit frigidaire et sur la table, etc.) Également, l'accent délicieusement anglais de l'hôtesse.... Calme, petit déjeuner, accueil, confort de la chambre. Super à refaire Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux accueillant ils nous attendaient avec des serviettes froides pour nous rafraîchir à notre arrivée il faut dire qu'il faisait 35 degré quand nous sommes arrivée nous avons vraiment appréciés ambiance très calme et petite musique au petit déjeuné très complet et toujours frais The hosts Jane and Dave could not do enough for us, they were very attentive at all times. The fridge had complimentary beer, chocolate, olives, fruit and much more and restocked each day! The splash pool was perfect. The outside area was very comfortable. Negative....Having to leave!!!

"Perfect in Every Way" Jane and Dave are wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts who will spoil you. There are treats in the fridge every day to nibble on after a day of sightseeing, a splash pool to cool off where you may also sip a cool beer or wine. The terrace is a good place to picnic or just chill out and has hammocks and a swing seat. The deluxe room isn't that big but it has every mod con you will need to make your stay comfortable. I suggest you select the room with the king bed as it has a balcony that overlooks the river, a huge bed, computer and settee. It is spacious and very comfortable. Definitely worth the few extra euros. The breakfasts are lovely with lots of choices. We so enjoyed our stay at Mon Plaisir and highly recommend this B&B.

Thursday is market day here in Villefranche De Rouergue! It's a little rainy today, but this video, created about 8 weeks ago shows the town just before the big summer rush. The stallholders bring seasonal fruit and veg to sell at the market, so there is something different every time.
