I live here in France and like to share news on the French culture, food, and what is happening in the area. Iown a 4-person gite which you can rent A beautiful 2 bedroom self contained gite, with patio, sun loungers, hot tub and BBQ area. Situated on the outskirts of Eymet and less than 200 meters from the Lac Escourou, this beautiful accommodation can sleep 4 people. The gite is located on the ground floor for easy access.

It was supposed to snow here today. We have a few snowflakes yesterday and Monday but nothing major. Below is a video of it snowing on the largest dunes in Europe, which is about 2 hours for us, next to Bordeaux.

This is Villereal. A beautiful village only 30 minutes from us. They are just doing the roads and already it is starting to look gorgeous. It should be all finished by the time you come and visit this year.
Well you learn something new everyday! Today I learnt there is an airport between Sarlat and Domme. Ryanair fly there from London Stansted. The airport is called Brive and is 1 hour 40 minutes from La Junnel. Cheap flights at the moment! http://www.aeroport-brive-vallee-dordogne.com
