It is diary. Every day or every few days I make a little drawing and an accompanying text about something that I experienced or thought of that day. Sometimes fun, other times serious. In time it gives a good insight into the person behind the drawings. The project should run for one year, but we'll see how far it gets. I chose to use the language of the county I live in now.

The 21st of November there are local elections in Denmark. Election posters with candidates are hung up the lampposts throughout the towns. Not as large as the real ones, but a few posters of eight imaginary cancidates representing four imaginary parties have found their way to the streets in Odder. They are some candidates who you absolutely NOT would vote for ;-)

Starting today: a permanent exhibition in the town house in Gjesing (Skanderborg). As the little town lies at the borders of four municipalities, I painted a landmark in each municipality; the Aros museum in Aarhus, the central square in Odder, the former prison in Horsens and the remaining church from the former castle in Skanderborg.

It has been a while since I posted something at this site, but... there is a new painting of a bridge again. In this case, it is the bridge from Jutland to Fyn (Lillebæltsbroen), painted with acrylic paint on four paper sheets of approximately 60x42 cm. For other recent paintings, check www.sieuwerts.nl
