We’re very proud to be part of the UP NODE network. It’s a network with a purpose we support to the fullest. With Up Node we wish to enable a better collaboration and sustainable exchange for Nordic music. We want to share creative forces across borders. Find more info here: http://www.upnode-network.com/ Massive shout out to our fellow festival partners in the network including Intonal, Turku Modern, NORBERGFESTIVAL, Nuuk Nordisk Kulturfestival, Insomnia Festival and Extreme Chill Festival
As part of the new Up Node Nordic Festival Network we've decided to give our dear friends at NORBERGFESTIVAL a true gabber trooper. The Danish Peckerhead, will bring his uncompromising, pounding hardcore cuts that will slap the 303-stage around like a wet towel. In case you don't know the Swedish festival you owe yourself to check it out. It comes highly recommended. More info on the news here: http://norbergfestival.com/programme/dj/peckerhead-dk/ Have a good weekend!
Next up on this year’s bill is errorsmith. Few people can keep the ravey spirit alive on the dancefloor the way Errorsmith can. His real name is Erik Wiegand, he's based in Berlin and he indulges thorny computer-music and peak-time impulses weaving between punchy grooves and brutal chaos. We got just the right thing to kick in your weekend. The second mix in our much-revered series is up tonight and this time it is the one and only fluxus-techno duo NMO mixing Hecker, DJ Slugo and a whole lot of hard hitting stuff. It is a definitive win-win. Make sure to tune in tonight at your favourite radio The Lake. Tune in tonight at 20:00 CET - www.thelakeradio.com
Plenty of great news hitting us these days. As part of our involvement in the new Up Node Network, we are sending Erosion Flow to NORBERGFESTIVAL. The Copenhagen-based producer and dj Henrik Koefod gained international recognition with his self-titled Erosion Flow EP on George FitzGerald’s ManMakeMusic imprint in 2014 and since then, he has released the two-part project, Spectrums Vol. 1 & 2, on Martyn’s critically acclaimed 3024 label. Just recently, Henrik debuted his live show which impressed us a lot. Therefore, we are sending him to Norbergfestival to represent PHONO. More info: http://norbergfestival.com/programme/live/erosion-flow-dk/ We can't wait to tell you more news about the Up Node Network.. but you have to wait until after Roskilde Festival.
We hope you are ready for some turntable action! Den Sorte Skole will blow the speakers at this year’s PHONO. The eclectic duo is a living legend known for their always heartfelt DJ-set with beats and chimes from all over the world. Den Sorte Skole feels like a dark and dizzying trip that shifts elegantly between earth-shaking bass and beautiful fields of sound. Here’s some words on what to expect from the concert at PHONO17 - coming straight from the horse’s mouth: “The concert at PHONO is an opportunity for us to go beyond the outskirts of our universe. It will be an unlimited space of liberation for the audience to experience sounds and music they haven’t heard before. We usually make use of crazy soundscapes for our common listeners, however, at PHONO we want to challenge ourselves and seek new ways for the dedicated audience with a taste for experimental music.” More info: www.phonofestival.dk/den-sorte-skole Tickets: www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?960304 Phono17: Encourage _________

Thanks is just a six-letter word. However, a huge thanks is in order for this weekend's massive turnout. Thanks to Jlin, Simo Cell, Darmstadt - DJs, Troels Hass (Percy Records), Anastasia Kristensen, Ctrls and Zadig for keeping the fire burning from nightfall to sunrise. Thanks to all ravers busting moves on the floor to all the raucous and sawtoothy bangers you were served. Last but not least, a tremendous thanks to DISTORTION and VICE Danmark.
