COPPER PENDANT, NO. 705 by Danish lighting Lyskær (Lyskaer) in the 1960's - attractive copper and warm orange hanging light in very good vintage condition. This metal pendant is comprised of three multi-layered copper lacquered shades with warm orange, almost red in the tone, inner coating and a copper lacquered cylindrical top. MULTI-LITE pendant by Louis Weisdorf in 1972 and produced by LYFA from 1974 - iconic Danish design - extremely attractive brass masterpiece! A large brass ring with two thin brass lacquered quarter-spherical shaped shades anchored at each side of the ring, and encircling a thin brass lacquered cylindrical inner core. To this extremely appealing form, comes the Weisdorf twist - the two shades can be individually rotated around the inner core, and thus altering the design and emittance completely - a true masterpiece with a complex structure and genius lighting qualities. The contours of the surroundings are captured in the shinny brass surface, and it creates an absolutely amazing light when lit - the light is guided out of the cylindrical inner core and past the two shades, making the white inner coating warm and soft, and the brass outer shine even more. By altering the shades position, the light can be directed upwards, downwards or exude an asymmetrical art light. The MULTI-LITE was designed by Louis Weisdorf in 1972, but first put into production at LYFA by 1974 and offered in two color combinations; white with chrome ring or brass with white inner coating. ORREFORS FAGERLUND Crystal ceiling flush by Carl Fagerlund and produced in cooperation between Danish LYFA and Swedish Orrefors - gorgeous crystal flush or wall light in very good vintage condition. A thick crystal glass shade, slightly curved to cover the brass frame underneath, attached and secured to the frame by a circular brass plate in front. The clear double corrugated crystal shade conceals six bucket sockets, fit for small golf ball sized bulbs (small size screw fitting E14/E12 with adapter), and these illuminate the whole crystal shade, making it appears as a large burning sun. The brass frame secures both the crystal shade and a thin brass lacquered plate, that conceals the mounting box on the ceiling (or wall if used as wall light). The thick double corrugated crystal scatters the light downwards and sideways, while reflecting light up towards the brass plate, making the light warm and golden in the ambiance. BLUE STONEWARE table lamp by Sejer Keramikfabrik in the 1960s - attractive lamp stand with vintage blue tartan textile shade included, in excellent vintage condition. This alluring stoneware lamp stand features a short round body with a decoration on the top plateau before narrowing into a long neck. The body, except for the top plateau, is kept unglazed, revealing the rough texture surface of the natural earthy dark brown clay, whereas the neck is glazed with a light blue color with clear visible hints of the clay underneath. The dark brown, unglazed body contrasts the light blue color on the neck, making it pop. The blue tartan textile shade suits both the dark brown, unglazed body and the light blue shade and emphasizes the character of the lamp stand. This intriguing and very stylish large stoneware lamp stand features an appealing elongated egg-like shape with a beige and brown striped pattern. The body is slightly textured which only add a wonderful tactile experience. Hallmarked underneath Søholm, Bornholm and signed H.V. or M.H. - unfortunately this signature is known to us. A beautiful deep blue glazed ceramic lamp stand with an appealing pyramid shape and gorgeous midnight blue stripes emerging from the base reaching up toward the shade. The midnight blue stripes emphasizes the pyramid shape, and as you look closer you will see that the deep blue glaze features a terazzo-like effect with notes of dark blue. LARGE WALL RELIEF by Dantoft Kunstartikler, Denmark circa 1960s. Unique artisan work in black lacquered wrought iron with red, blue and clear glass pieces, in good vintage condition. A large wondrous collage of imagination and geometric shapes - materialized in black, welded wrought iron. The body has overlaying bars, angles and circles, ending in a arrowhead towards the top and the end of an arrow towards the bottom. Some of the overlaid bars and circles are covered by colored glass stones with clear glass, bright red and denim blue tones and a polished surface. The two blue glass stones are circular, whereas both the clear and red stones are rectangular shaped, all to capture the reflection from the surrounding light. This wall sculpture is sure to catch positive attention from your guests whether you choose to hang this piece in the living room or outside on the patio. The wall sculpture was made by Dantoft, a company that had their heyday in the 1960s and 1970s. Dantoft designed wall sculptures in many different forms and shapes, some as candle holders where the bottom have a shallow bowl for a candle holder. TERAZZA pendant by Bent Karlby in the 1960s, produced by LYFA - gorgeous large hanging light in teal and blue nuances, in good vintage condition. A large pyramid shaped pendant, comprised of four metal shades, each with its own nuance of blue - spanning over a large teal outer shade to a pale light blue inner shade. All four shade features white inner coating to ensure optimal reflection of the light. The large teal colored outer shade features four incised circles and slightly pyramid shape, where as the other three shades decrease in size and are circular shaped with a slight curvature outwards to guide the light up and sideways. MODUS EASY CHAIR by Kristian Vedel for Søren Willadsen in 1963 - Danish Mid-century Modern oil-treated oak easy chair with the original black leather upholstery, in good vintage condition. A gorgeous low easy chair that oozes craftsmanship, constructed in oil-treated oak showing the swirling grains of the oak on each side of the seating-frame, and the original black leather cushion, armrests and backrest. An organic, yet very minimalist silhouette with beautiful details, like the curvature on the side panels with their gorgeous swirling grain and the inviting black leather cushion, armrests and backrest. The Danish furniture designer Kristian Vedel created the MODUS series in 1963, a series of furniture all designed with the same framing style - the curved side panels and the rounded legs. This gave the customer the opportunity to combine sofas, tables and chairs to their choosing, while still keeping the overall style. The MODUS furniture were produced by Søren Willadsen in either rosewood or oak. An attractive easy chair and fine example of 1960s Danish design, that would make for a gorgeous addition to any home - as accent chair, extremely comfortable resting chair or reading chair or just as showpiece.
