Centar za rehabilitraciju Down Syndrom Centar Pula * Centre za rehabilitaciju Down sindrom centar Pula je prvi i jedini centar takve vrste na području Republike Hrvatske i šire regije. Osnovan je 2005. godine uz potporu Vlade Republike Hrvatske i nadležnog Ministarstva zdravstva i socijalne skrbi.  Namjenjen je svim obiteljima čiji članovi imaju Down sindrom bez obzira na mjesto prebivališta ili godine starosti te obiteljima njihovih prijatelja. Centar je član Europske Down sindrom asocijacije ( EDSA ) i u njegovim prostorima nalazi se EDSA ured Hrvatska.Ravnateljica Centra, Branka Butorac, dr.med , izabrana je u predsjedništvo EDSA-e za razdoblje od 2008.g-2011.g.Centar je, kao mjesto dobre prakse, prepoznat od Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) te je uključen u javno-zdravstvenu mrežu JI Europe SEEHN mreže u programu prevencije institucionalizacije. Ravnateljica Centra imenovana hrvatskim nacionalnim projekt managerom (CPM WHO-a).

Center for rehabilitation Down Syndrome Center Pula is the first and only center of its kind on the Croatian territory and region.It is founded in 2005.  with the support of all institutions of local, regional and national level achieving partnership with them.

      It is available to all families whose members have Down syndrome, regardless of place of residence or age, their families and other persons with disabilities and their families.

     The Center is a member of the European Down Syndrome Association (EDSA) and Down Syndrome International (DSI).

       Headmaster of DSC Pula Center, B. Butorac, MD, was elected to the presidency of the EDSA-e for a period of a 2008-2011.g.

      Center, as a place of good practice, recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and is included in the public health network in Southeast Europe (SEEHN network) in the prevention of institutionalization. Director of the Center was appointed as a  Croatian national project manager (CPM WHO).The center is a place of good practice which gained supremacy of AnEUploidy consortium of world scientists on its international congress held in Split, 19/09/2010.g.Also on 21/03/2011.g DSC headmaster Branka Butorac, MD, received the World Award World Down Syndrome Day Award (WDSD) for outstanding professional accomplishments.
