Irish/Croatian family owned, first and only hostel in Karlovac | We offer the cheapest accommodation available in Karlovac city centre Hostel Na putu officially opened it's doors in late July 2014. We are excited to be the first to provide affordable backpacker-style accommodation for visitors of all types to our city on four rivers.
When we first found this 18th century house in winter 2014, we knew instantly that we could realise our dream of creating a welcoming, relaxing home away from home for our guests that would reflect our personalities and the balance of history, nature, entertainment, hospitality and adventure this city has to offer.
Our location means you can be right in the thick of it all. Locals call the street "Korzo" and it is the main route through the old city centre. You will find us inside one of the courtyards that line one side of the street (watch out for the sign over our gate!) Directly behind our building is the tree-lined - "promenade" (a popular place of relaxation which we also have a pedestrian entrance from) and the historical old-town core of the six-pointed star fortress - "Zvijezda". Everything you need is just minutes walking distance away.
Inside the hostel you have the choice of a 5, 7 or 8 bed dorm. Each bed has its own security locker, night shelf and reading lamp. Other facilities include: male + female toilets, a bathroom w/shower + toilet as well as two additional shower rooms. Wifi and internet access is freely available to all guests as is use of our kitchen and much more. Check out our website for more information!
