Today was an epically long day for travelling and man I have never been so pleased to get to my hotel, especially as it is such a beautiful one. The alarm sounded at 3am this morning, we flew out of Medellin to Bogota and then faced an 8 hour road trip to Capitanejo. The road trip as well as being extremely long was also fantastically windy as we negotiated our way around the mountainous valleys, I was feeling rather green by the time we arrived!! 😖 There was also a small incident where we were pulled over by police and it turned out that our drivers license had expired! 😂 Nothing a small fine couldn't sort out.
